HAWKINS COMMITS TO OTTAWA KANSAS

Another Marauder is moving on! Congratulations to AVC Basketball's Tre Hawkins, who will be moving on to play at Ottawa University in Kansas. Hawkins scored 477 points, collected 148 rebounds, dished out 84 assists, and had 77 steals over two seasons at AVC. He led the Marauders in scoring (13.3 PPG) and steals (58) this past year with 10 double-digit scoring games en route to earning First Team All-Conference Honors. Tre will join an Ottawa team that went 16-13 last season with a quarterfinal loss in the NAIA's Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Braves are 12-time KCAC Champions.
