Bio

Justin Webb is entering his 21st season with Antelope Valley College. Currently, he is in his 2nd year as the running backs coach and has previously served as the offensive line coach, Marauder athletic equipment assistant, and football operations coordinator. During his tenure, Webb was a member of the football staff on the 2016 High Desert Bowl Championship team, the first bowl win by a Marauder team since 1992, and the first win at home in Brent Carder Marauder Stadium. In addition, Webb has been a part of 3 conference championship teams. Webb also serves as the Head Women’s Tennis coach at Antelope Valley College. His 2019 team won the most matches since 2013 and had two doubles teams qualify for the state tournament, the first qualifiers since 1979.

A graduate of Grant High School, where he played on the offensive and defensive line for the Lancers, Webb continued his education at LA Pierce College. He played defensive line for the 1991 edition of the Brahmas, which played in a post-season bowl game. He then switched sides of the ball to play on the offensive line the following season. After spending two years in the security industry, Webb returned to athletics as defensive line coach for LA Pierce in 1996. He then became the offensive line coach until leaving after the 1998 season.

In 1999, Webb moved on to LA Valley as the defensive end coach and recruiting coordinator. Webb received his Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies from Cal State Bakersfield in 2009 and a Master of Science degree in physical education from Azusa Pacific University in 2011. Webb is also a credentialled Special Education Teacher in the Westside Union School District. Webb has been married since 2015 to his wife Jean, and they have one child, Fiona.
