MARAUDER BASEBALL TAKES TWO OF THREE FROM VICTOR VALLEY

LANCASTER - The Marauder baseball team wrapped up its series with Victor Valley by taking two of three games.
After winning the first game 9-2, AVC was defeated 18-14 in the second. The Marauders took the rubber match with a 9-8 victory in 10 innings at Marauder Stadium.
In the loss against the Rams, Victor Valley pounded out 20 hits and seven home runs. Ethan Avant hit his team-leading sixth home run of the season and added four RBI and two runs scored.
AVC had 20 hits as well and seven Marauder players had multiple hits, including Jorge Villalobos, who led the team with four. John Reyes was 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and three runs scored.
In the final game of the series, Reyes again had the hot hand as he finished 2-for-4 with four RBI. Daulton Stanton added two RBI and Blake Leidholdt added three hits. Avant's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Stanton which was the game-winner.
