Bio

Sheri Langaman started working at Antelope Valley College in January 2015, and moved to the KIN/Athletics department as a Clerical Assistant II in January 2017.  As the department has changed and grown, she has been able to move up to Clerical Assistant III and now to Administrative Assistant for the Dean of the KIN/Athletics department.

Prior to moving to the KIN/Athletics department, Sheri worked in a couple departments at AVC as a Clerical Assistant.  She started in the Outreach/Welcome Center, and then moved to the Business Office, coordinating and processing travel.  Since graduating from AVC, Sheri has wanted to work at the college that held so many good memories, and she unexpectedly found her home when she transferred out of the Business Office and moved to Athletics.

Sheri has an AA in Computer Graphics from Antelope Valley College and a BA in Graphic Design from CSU Northridge.  She has a wide variety of experience including Inventory Management, Shipping Management, Buyer/Purchasing, Graphics & Web Design, Customer Service and Clerical/Secretarial.

Born in Lancaster and raised in Tehachapi, Sheri lives with her husband of 16 years in Bear Valley up in Tehachapi with their cat and 2 dogs.  They enjoy SciFi, Fantasy, Action & Thriller TV shows and movies, playing computer games and working on projects to upgrade their house and yard.
